What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda means: The Knowlege or Science of Life; it is one of the oldest medical sciences in the world. It is a knowledge that comes from within and dates back to pre-history. The therapist in Ayurveda must have a deep personal experience as well as drawing upon what has been handed down through the generations. It is a holistic approach which is relatively free from side effects and therefore the most natural way of healing. Ayurveda is based on the balance between life and basic elements called MAHABHOOTAS and TRIDOSHAS as well as the energy which connects both of them called PRANA. The consultation starts with your personal body diagnosis and the discovery of your individual needs. Through the use of different treatments, therapies and masssages, effective programmes can be given for any individual conditions.
